Kyo-Train is Hankyu Railway’s special train running between Osaka-Umeda and Kyoto-Kawaramachi on the Hankyu Kyoto Line.
Each car is decrated with a beautiful, seasonal Japanese motif that allows passangers to feel fine atmosphere of Japan's ancient capital Kyoto！
The Design of Kyo-Train GARAKU
Garaku is the 6-car train.
Each car has its own unique and sophisticated design!

Car 1 and 6
Car 1&6 have special "Tatami-style" box seating(↑), and sofa-like seats（↓）.
I think, the wallpaper is also fashionable!
The design concept of Car 1 is "autumn" and that of Car 6 is "early spring".
Car 2 and 5
And here is a one-person seat(↓).
This is dry landscape garden!!!
The garden is in the train!
The design concept of Car2 is "winter" and that of Car 5 is "early autumn".
Car 3 and 4
These cars are my fovorite ones.
The special window-facing seats were designed especially to allow passengers to enjoy the passing scenery.
These seats have small tables (see pink circle).
When my daughter and I took these seats, we put drinks ans sweets on the table and enjoyed to see passing scenary♡
The design conept of Car 3 is "spring" and that of Car 4 is "summer".

Kyo-Train has two types, "Kyo-Train" and "Kyo-Train GARAKU".
Both are Japanese style trains♡
The timetable(↓）is from Osaka-Umeda.
The left one is "Kyo-Train GRAKU" and the right one is "Kyo-Train".
Also, one train departs from Kyoto to Osaka every hour.
Takes only 43 minutes
It only takes 43 minutes from Osaka to Kyoto.

Standar charge is just 400 yen one way.

Tips
Regarding the Kyo-Train, you cannot make a reservation.
So, to make sure you get on the train, you should go a little earlier and wait in line!
If you get on Kyo-Train Garaku, you will be able to enjoy the historical city Kyoto from the moment you board.
Riding Kyo-Train is easy.
No reservation required, and the passengers can pay regular fee.
