Do you know a "Caupsule Toy"?
The Capsule Toy is also called "Gacha Gacha" , "Gachapon" or "Gashapon".
Gachapon machines are similar to the coin-operated toy vending machines seen outside grocery stores and other retailers in other countries.
In some countries, such toys are low-quality products. But I think, Japanese Gachapons are very sophisticated and high-quality prodcuts.
In Osaka city, there are several places where a lot of Gacha Gacha machines are there.
Yodobashi-Umeda is one of these places. It has over 1,800 Gashapon machines!
My daughter and I love to play Gacha Gacha at Yodobashi😄
Let me introduce Gacha Gacha of Yodobashi-Umeda!
Directions to Yodobashi Umeda
It takes 2 or 3 minutes from Osaka Station on foot. But, you must not underestimate to get to that place.
The passages are very complicated near Osaka Station, especially in the underground. I recommend you to get to Yodobashi-Umeda , going on the road on the ground😄
After exiting the ticket gate (JR Osaka Station's Midosuji-Gate) on the 1st floor, you turn left and go up on the escalator.
When you climb up on the escalator, you can find this way(↓).
Please follow the corridor and you will be in the Yodobashi Building.
Yodobashi Umeda has two buildings. And both have capsule stands.
These two are "Multimedia Umeda" and "Links Umeda".
The two buildings are connected by a passage on each floor, so once you enter the building, you can come and go freely.
Looking at the illustration below, the left is Multimedia Umeda and the right is Links Umeda.
Where are the Machines?
The Gacha Gacha machines are installed in several places.
There are mainly four places to install the Gacha Gacha machines.
The 5th floor of Multimedia Umeda: Gacha Gacha Jungle 【about 900 machines】
This is the largest number of these buildings.
The 5th floor is a toy department, and Gacha Gacha Jungle is one corner of the floor.
♪Here is the banner of ”Gacha Gacha Jungle”♪
And Gacha Gacha Jungle is this 😃↓
Even if you see 900 machines, there are some same machines.
So there are NOT 900 kinds😏
The 2nd floor of Links Umeda: Lausanne Avenue 【about 330 machines】
You can also find many Gacha Gacha on the second floor.
I roughly counted 330 machines!!
On the second floor , there are so many cute Gachas.
Here is the "Summikko Gurashi" Gacha, "Study Book Light".
When you open the Summiko Book, the light comes on.
And this one(↓) provides "Lizard's House" pouches (small bags).
The 1st basement floor of Multimedia Umeda: Outside the door
The number is not so many, and they are lined up in a narrow space next to the door.
Like this.
But, there are many people looking at machines.
Here is connected to the underground shopping mall, so many people want to stop by.
The 2nd basement floor of Multimedia Umeda: Next to the bicycle test drive course
Here is the inside test driving course of bicycle.
This floor is not crowded, so you can see Gachas comfortably😊
